My Story

When I am asked where I am from, it usually takes me about a full minute to give an accurate response.I was raised in a multicultural family, to a Peruvian mother and an Italian father. As I grew up, we continuously moved between the two countries, speaking both languages at home. Born in Italy to a family with rich cultural heritage, I’ve always been drawn to exploring my roots and connecting with my ancestors. Both of my parents instilled in me a love of tradition and a strong sense of family values. I’ve carried these values with me throughout life, from my childhood in Peru to my current home in the US. And now, as she grows, I continue to teach these same values to my daughter.

Arriving in the US as a young adult was not an easy transition. Regardless of my unconditional family support and my friendly personality, at the societal level, I struggled with what most immigrats would:  language barrier, sense of belonging, and lots of anxiety. Lots of anxiety that contributed to SO much growth!

As I continued to navigate life, I discovered that I was just crafting a new side of me: “the American me”. Learning to develop a new sense of self while embracing the unfamiliar, adapting to new norms, and finding tolerance within myself. Little did I know that this new side of me wasn’t just a replacement of my existing identity, but an EXPANSION of it. An expansion that resulted from stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing all the movement with grace and resilience.

My identity isn’t defined by any one culture or border. I’m a multicultural individual, shaped by diverse experiences and perspectives. Loving and appreciating each personality, each side of me, for its unique strengths and quirks. Staying grounded and connected to my core values and beliefs, even as I evolve. And, discovering that integrating these different aspects of myself isnt about blending them into a homogenous mix, but about celebrating their diversity and finding harmony in their coexistence. This is the beauty of interconnectedness.

Finding balance and centeredss in my yoga practice, I’ve grown and become more whole. With a global perspective and a heart open to new experiences, I’ve found freedom in being myself, without borders or limits. Always evolving and integrating new aspects of myself, yet staying grounded in my truth.

I am free to explore, to love, and to embrace the expansive possibilities that life has to offer.

I am Universally Free.

People I’ve loved, Places I’ve been, and memories I’ve done along the way

My Yoga Teacher Training

I completed my 500 hr of yoga teacher training at Warrior One Yoga Studio, Orlando FL. I had been practicing yoga at the sister studio located in Winter Garden (my current home studio) and I had heard from the other teachers that this program wasn't just to learn how to teach yoga, but also to embark on a new journey of self discovery. When I decided to take this leap, I had no clue what to expect. All I knew was, I was ready to let go of what no longer served me and I wanted to surround myself with a positive community that empowered one another. Honestly, I gained SO MUCH MORE than that! I initially signed up for level one for my 200 hr, however, I the program so transformative that I decided to also complete level two! Through this journey, I mastered not only teaching skills but also the art of intentional living. I learned to listen to my body, trust my breath, and tap into yoga's true potential. I'm excited to share all this magic, pay it forward, and inspire other humans to find their own path of self-discovery and empowerment.

The light within in me sees and honors the light within you
