FAQs

Getting Started

How do I get started?

You can begin by scheduling a clarity call, a free 15-minute consultation. This call allows us to connect, discuss your goals, and determine if we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan that supports your growth and overall
wellness.

How do I know if we are the right fit?

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal process, and it should feel natural, supportive, and aligned. Think of it like hiring a trusted collaborator: someone you feel comfortable with, who understands your needs, and with whom you can build a meaningful connection. It’s perfectly okay if it takes time to find the right fit. Trust your instincts, you’ll know when it feels right, and that’s when the real work can begin.

What if I get nervous? Or have a hard time opening up?

That’s completely normal. My role is to create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and free to be your authentic self. There’s no pressure to be perfect or know exactly what to say, we’ll figure it out together.

During Session

What can I expect during my first session?

During your first session, we will get to know each other. We’ll explore what brings you here, discuss your goals, and identify areas you’d like to focus on. I’ll share how I work so you can feel comfortable and supported from the start. You don’t need to prepare anything, just come as you are.

I’ve never been to counseling. What should I expect?

A safe, private space where you can explore your experiences, identity, and emotions without fear of judgment. It’s natural to feel hesitant at first, but this is where transformation begins. In here, you’ll gain insight, clarity, and the freedom to express yourself authentically.

How long is a session?

Each session is 50 minutes. The number of sessions varies depending on your goals, some clients benefit from short-term support, while others choose ongoing guidance.

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Yes! Most sessions are conducted virtually, allowing you to attend therapy from the comfort of your home or office. Virtual therapy is secure, HIPAA-compliant, and available to clients anywhere in Florida. Sessions maintain the same quality, connection, and confidentiality as in-person meetings. I offer in-person sessions for clients located in the Winter Garden/ Windermere area.

Insurance & Payment

Do you take insurance?

Yes. I accept insurance under my clinical supervisor’s network for eligible clients. I also welcome self-pay clients who prefer the flexibility and confidentiality of paying out of pocket.

What is your standard rate and payment policy?

My standard rate is $150 per 50-minute session for self-pay clients. Payment is due at the time of the session and can be made by credit card.
